Last year, Dr. Carlos and Debra Ruiz had a vision to develop a small boutique dental office with a spa like atmosphere in Lake Havasu . They opened Lakeview Family Dental in August of 2007. Soon after they opened their doors, Debra found that they could not accommodate all the patients wanting to be seen in their office. A decision was made to expand their treatment hours and be open Monday through Saturday. They even added an additional dentist this month to their staff. Dr. Alfredo Paredes comes to their office as a graduate of UCLA Dental School. Debra explains that the last year has been quite a journey. They have added an additional 12 female employees, too! Dr. Carlos and Debra operated a private dental practice in Orange County, California, for 27 years before deciding to move full-time to Lake Havasu City. According to Debra, she is trilled to offer dental careers to so many women who live in Lake Havasu. She is extremely delighted to offer benefits like 401k plans, medical insurance to their staff,. In fact, three of their ladies have purchased their first home and one her first new car! They are proud to be stimulating the local economy.

Lakeview Family Dental is open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to as late as 7 p.m. most weekdays. Dr. Carlos Ruiz and his ladies offer a true 24-hour emergency service where after hours; Dr. Ruiz actually answers the phone! Not only does Dr. Ruiz treat patients in pain the same day in their dental office, Dr. Ruiz also responds to Havasu Regional Medical Center for patients who have experienced dental trauma.

Keeping with their original idea of a boutique dental spa, Lakeview Family Dental pampers their patients with amenities, such as paraffin hand wax, massage chairs, aromatherapy candles, neck pillows, televisions on the ceiling and much more.

They also offer their patients everything from state-of-the-art dental equipment, such as digital x-rays, laser, intra oral camera and Zoom Whitening. Dr. Ruiz offers high-tech services; such as Invisalign braces, bad breath analysis, implant restorations and oral surgery. Dr. Ruiz's high-tech office includes laser capabilities for treatment of cold sores and soft-tissue management, the only dental office in the area to do so.
